Why Become a Member?

SATA's mission is to facilitate and support the emergence and growth of advanced technology-based entrepreneurial companies in Saskatchewan by building a network of support through education, networking, market research and advocacy programs. SATA also functions as a source of industry information and point of contact.

SATA's key objective is to be a well recognized support and advocate organization providing strong leadership to Saskatchewan's advanced technology industry.

SATA is also an innovation and commercialization enabler, we strive to ensure that emerging advanced technology companies are made aware of the federal, provincial and private support programs that are available to help them start and grow their businesses.

SATA provides the following services to our members:

Specific technology and technology related education and training; Timely notification of business opportunities; Networking and promotion opportunities; Opportunity to direct industry wide initiatives through various working committees; Consortium building and support mechanisms; Industry knowledge resource base; Notification of technology related funding and grant opportunities; A strong voice and representative of our industry to provincial and federal governments, and; Promotion of the Saskatchewan advanced technology industry as a whole.

Membership CategoriesStudents Must produce a valid student card and be attending a publicly recognized learning institute.    - Receive member discount at all SATA events. Personal members  The personal member receives member discounts at all SATA events.   - Staff and colleagues in the personal members company do not qualify for membership discounts at SATA  events.  Associated companies are not listed in our member directories. Corporate members  Company must actively fall into one of the advanced technology industry sectors.   Company is promoted in our directories. Entire staff receives member discount at SATA events.  Logo and link to your website from SATA Membership Directory. Associate Member (Industry Support Services)  Must fall into one of the following industry support categories: Lawyers and Solicitors, Insurance  Agencies, Accounting & Finance, Research Organizations and Business Consulting.
