Saskatoon is ranked 8th as a city preferred by young people in Canada (source: Next Generation Consulting). We can do better... As our aging work force steps into retirement, we need to retain and attract young and well trained professionals to our city. Improvement to Saskatoon needs to continue with a clear focus to make our city a healthy, sustainable, liveable & vibrant city. To properly position Saskatoon to meet future generational needs, Saskatoon has an opportunity to rank in the top three to five cities in Canada within three years.
Jan Gehl is the person to inspire Saskatoon and he will be here on August 31st and September 1st delivering a two parts presentation on the topic on healthy, liveable sustainable cities. This is a one in a life time opportunity for our city to hear Jan live, we hope you and your friends and neighbours will come and get inspired.
Please note: Jan Gehl will have separate topics of discussion for both nights.
Frank and Ellen Remai Arts Center is located next to the Sid Buckwold Bridge. Beside River Landing in the beautiful downtown Saskatoon. This is a Bike Friendly event and we encourage you to ride to the event. Helmet check will be provided.
***LEAVE YOUR BIKE HELMET ON DURING THE PRESENTATION***
