Business and Professional Women’s Club Saskatoon has partnered with ATHENA International to pilot a new ‘meet and mentor’ program designed to connect emerging and established women leaders in our community. The inaugural Saskatoon ATHENA International Women’s Leadership Day Lunch will take place on Wednesday September 29th at the Odeon Events Centre in Saskatoon. Local event sponsors include Ellenn Plastics Manufacturing Inc. ATHENA International Women’s Leadership Day events will be piloted in several US and Canadian Cities in 2010, and on the same day around the globe in 2011 and thereafter.
The premise of this program is simple: an established woman leader invites an emerging woman leader as her guest to dine, meet other women leaders, and share ideas about leadership. It goes beyond a networking event to provide an intimate forum for established and emerging women leaders to make meaningful and lasting connections with one another.
