Description
Club-Style Hip-Hop is a 6-week dance program where participants learn a variety of funky hip-hop dance moves. This class is designed to get your heart rates pumping and use your own creative style. Learn the different moves and styles hip hop has to offer and learn to move your body in isolations. By the end of the six week program you will have several routines and moves to take out on the dance floor and have some fun while the music moves you.
The class begins with a light stretch, body isolation to enhance movement, a fast paced warm up and some strength training, which includes sit-ups and push-ups (Total warm-up is approximately 20-30min). The class then moves into learning new steps and moves to incorporate into routines. Club Style Hip Hop is classified as a beginner class, so there is no experience required. This class has been successful with both beginners and those who have had minimal dance experience. This class provides fine tuning and toning of muscle groups, by using strength in each and every motion. It is a great atmosphere that motivates you to give each form, move, and routine everything you have! Come and pump it up! |
