The North Central Enterprise Region is presenting the 2010 Tourism Summit to take place at the Elk Ridge Resort on Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25, 2010. This event will host a variety of speakers and events to identify ways to grow the Tourism Industry within the North Central Enterprise Region.
This event consists of three sessions:
The Launch of the NCER’s New Brand Image/Wine and Cheese Social:
The Wine and Cheese Social will occur from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM during the evening of March 24, 2010 and will be host to the official launch of NCER's new Brand Image. Tap Communication Inc. and the North Central Enterprise Region have been working together to identify what this Region means to those that live here and to create an identity that relates back to the responses that were received. This identity will be able to be used by all those in the Region to strengthen our partnerships and to work together to achieve greater things.
We are looking for the following stakeholders to attend:
- Tourism Associations
- Tourism Operators
- Municipal and Political Leaders
- Media groups
Conference Session:
The morning session will consist of a follow-up session from Tap Communications followed by a number of speakers that will be able to engage the delegates on the matters that mean the most to them, which include streams such as:
- Using social media to attract new customers to your business
- The importance of sharing resources and the ability to network and to utilize your partners.
- To create a set of standards that would unite the Tourism Industry within the Region.
Facilitation Session:
This is your opportunity to direct the way that the Tourism Industry will grow within this Region. We will gather all the information from the previous two sessions and include the information brought forward from your groups to develop a plan that can be implemented in the North Central Enterprise Region.
